After a successful initial run in 2017, the binary exploitation bootcamp is returning for Semester 2, 2018! As always, it is free for anyone to attend. We will be running weekly Tuesday night sessions from 6.30pm-8pm starting on the 31st of July at The University of Queensland St Lucia, in room 78-346. A big thank you to the school of ITEE for supporting the bootcamp again this year.

Binary exploitation is rarely explored during university courses, but offensive security skills can help you become a better programmer and gain a deeper understanding of the systems you use. It is very technically challenging, but also incredibly rewarding, and we are excited to share these skills with those who are interested in learning.

The bootcamp will involve a combination of short lectures and hands on challenges that get increasingly more challenging and complex. We will assume you have knowledge of C/C++ and basic unix command line experience.
